10 Tattoo DON’Ts!! How To Avoid STUPID Tattoos

Alpha likes the *idea* of tattoos. Whenever he sees a guy with a sick-ass sweet sleeve, he thinks, “Dude, he’s a badass!” But there’s a razor-thin line between badass and dumbass. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro presents his two tattoos that cost $115 to get and over $800 to get removed plus 2 years of painful laser removal treatment.

Tattoo Guidelines

  1. No regrets tattoo on my hand. Just little tattoo. Is it okay?

  2. He thinks guys that have their fraternity symbols tatted on them are douchey but his channel name is alpha m. As in alpha male? You can tell he thinks he is hot shit. The only bad tattoos are rushed tattoos, not thought out well, and no effort put into it. I have 6 tattoos and they're all great. At least I think so, and that's all that matters. What an awful channel

  3. Smart guy though. I've Worked in various industries over the years and if you really want to be considered for better positions often the first thing a recruiter or interviewer looks at are tattoo's. If they can't be hidden you are throwing yourself out of the bus even before you left the gate. Worse some companies have a policy that any visible tattoo is not permitted.. Period.. The reason is silly but if you think about it makes sense. Even if you don't see the public and are just a general worker, etc. There may be a time where they are showing a potential or existing client around and they see your skull and crossbones, any other symbol or phrase and chances are that some client will take offense to it. You may say "freedom of speech" which then gets the reply "freedom to be unemployed, the door's that way." Good or bad it's how business works and a visible tattoo (intended or not) is bad for business. Ever see a tatoo on an old tatoo artist? Unless they have kept their bodies in shape, that pinup on your calf starts looking like a out of focus witch with a hump back and sagging body parts, or my favorite guy says he is a genius with his tatoo. "No Regerts" on his forearm. ahem…

  4. Xxxtentacion wants to know your location

  5. How bout just not getting any? Why do people have to do something that other people are doing?

  6. Lots of bad advice here. You should AVOID having ‘meaning’ in all your tattoos. If it means something, fine, but aesthetics should be #1. Does it look good? Choose from an established style of work, American Traditional, Japanese, Polynesian, etc. You will be much less likely to regret a tattoo that has classic style. Pick an artist who does EXACTLY the work you like (style, color, line work….it all needs to be just what you’re looking for. It’s risky to get an artist to work outside of their wheelhouse). Let them have most, if not all, of the say on how the tattoo looks and how it is placed. This will be a challenge for control freaks. Just realize, 100%, if you pick someone competent with experience..they definitely know way more about it than you. Trying to direct them too much is more likely to yield sub-par results in the end. Last, happily pay them and tip well. Do this, and your tattooist will light up when they see you, and your he/she will always try their best to give you something amazing.

  7. Don’t tattoo your hands, neck , or face…first. Tattoo them last.

  13. Leg and upper back aren't that bad, but removal fees way overdo the cost to do it. Lol.

  14. The neck and hands rule is pretty much not a thing anymore if you work in tech, at least if they're good. I would go as far as saying face, but again, it depends how it looks and if it's tasteful. And before people tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, I work as a software engineer, at a bank no less, and have seen people with beautiful neck and hand pieces. So yeah.

  15. I generally don't "care" for this gentleman and his advice but I found myself agreeing with everything he said here! Good on him for admitting what he considers his own mistakes.
